Personal Training FAQs
Do I need to be fit before starting personal training?

No. Personal training at Duo Clinic is designed for people who are not feeling confident, strong, or pain free yet. Sessions are adapted to your current ability so you can start safely and build from there.

Can personal training help if I have pain or past injuries?

Yes. Many clients train with back, knee, shoulder, or postural issues. Training is adjusted around injuries, with movement quality and control prioritised so you can get stronger without aggravating problem areas.

Is this one-on-one or group based?

We use small group and three-to-one personal training. This allows for close coaching and guidance while keeping sessions supportive and motivating. Groups are capped so you are always supervised.

How is this different from standard gym personal training?

We are not an open gym. Sessions are structured, coached, and informed by clinical insight. Strength training, Clinical Pilates, and health focused programs work together rather than being treated as separate services.

How do I know which training option is right for me?

You do not need to decide on your own. The first step is a consultation where we talk through your goals, history, and concerns, then guide you toward the most suitable option.
