Our Frequently Asked Question

Do I need prior fitness experience to get started?

No. All programs are designed for beginners through to advanced levels. We assess your movement, goals, and health history to ensure your training is safe, effective, and suited to you.

What is the difference between Strength Training and Clinical Pilates?

Strength Training focuses on building muscle, power, and overall conditioning, while Clinical Pilates emphasises rehabilitation, core stability, posture, and injury prevention. Many clients combine both for optimal results.

Are your programs suitable if I have an injury or pain?

Yes. Our coaches work with injuries, chronic pain, and post-rehabilitation needs. Programs are modified to support recovery while improving strength, mobility, and confidence in movement.

What happens in my first session?

Your first session includes an initial assessment, discussion of goals, movement screening, and a tailored plan. This ensures your training starts safely and with clear direction.

Do you offer small group and one-on-one sessions?

Yes. We offer small group training for motivation and community, as well as one-on-one sessions for personalised support and specific health or performance goals.

Are Men’s and Women’s Health programs different?

Yes. These programs are designed to support hormonal health, strength changes, injury prevention, and life stages such as pregnancy, postnatal recovery, and menopause.

How often should I train to see results?

Most clients see noticeable improvements training two to three times per week. Consistency and a structured program are key to long-term progress.

Do I need a referral for Clinical Pilates?

A referral is not required, but if you have one from a healthcare professional, we are happy to work alongside them to support your recovery and goals.

What should I wear and bring to sessions?

Wear comfortable workout clothing and supportive footwear. Bring a water bottle and be ready to move. All equipment is provided.
